okay, so i bet you are wondering who is it behind this mega incredible blogshop . the webmistress is a 51 year old grumpy lady who is too lazy to go out and find a proper 9-5 job, hence resulting in the existence of this incredibly cool blogshop . she is currently living with two dogs and a hamster named Toby . before you start pitying her over her bachelorette old maid status, well, maybe you should buy more from her. you know... so that she doesnt need to be sent to a retirement home by the time she's 55 . her name is Bridget, because every grumpy old lady needs a grumpy old name .
okay i kid . none of the above is true . and to hell with creative writing, i'm done referring to myself in a third person's pov . and if your name happens to be Bridget, my apology .
truth is that i am a 15 year old living in kl . my idol? oh that has gotta be tei, eru and brian joo . am i annoying you with the way i am not beginning my sentences with capital letters? if so, that's your problem . i believe that the only things in this world that deserves proper capitalization is my name and Durian Durian (and yours as well...only if you are buying something from me, of course) .
what? that's not what you want to hear? what do you want to know then?
oh, yes, more of Durian Durian and less of me, right?
granted . from the name of my shop, i bet you could tell that i suck at names . guess what? you're wrong . what does topshop and nose sound like to you? not exactly pure genius, if you'd ask me . if you’re selling shoes, at least name it…feet or leg or something right? But then again, names are subjective- look at how big those two brand names have gotten . a name does not justify the quality of goods it has to offer . so if Durian-Durian sounds like a good name to me, alongside with my dedication, i am sure my efforts will pay off one day .
Durian-Durian was launched on 25/12/2008...you know, just because i am kiasu like that loh wtf . i want my anniversary to fall on a public holiday hohoho .
the sole reason to why i wanted to open an online shop is to experience first hand how hard (or easy) it is to earn my own money . besides, I thought it’ll be cool to cater to the needs of the female species to shop- economically . I am a firm believer that good things in life need not come expensive . I am trying my best to keep everything here below rm100 so wish me luck okay! Where else can you find a rm35 dress? HERE ONLY AND NOWHERE ELSE . THERE . I JUST ANSWERED MY QUESTION .
but i have to stress the fact that i am not doing this to put food on my table, therefore i am NOT desperate (if I am the prices wont be so low lor right) . i want the money, i dont need it . this is a hobby, not my rice bowl . so if you think along the lines of 'customer is king cuz they're right at everything' and throw unreasonable tantrums then sorry, i might not layan such nonsense . just because you are buying something from me, it does not warrant you the right to throw shit at my direction- pardon my straightforwardness . i just feel the need for these unwritten rules to be written down in black and white . i just find it necessary to make my stand clear . so that I can say, ‘I told you so!’ in your face lorrrrzzszsz .
that aside, i asure you i AM a very nice person okay! i am a pleasant person to deal with (self proclaimed . or at least i would like to believe so) . of course i am, provided you are . my name? *flips hair*
